Legacy's Roland Orgeron Jr. featured in Construction Executive CE Magazine

Since Roland Orgeron, Jr. and business partner Blake Couch founded Legacy Industries in 2016, the company has been part of the response to every major hurricane that has hit the continental U.S. including Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area, Hurricane Ian in southwest Florida, Hurricane Florence on the North Carolina coast and others. In plenty of cases, though, he doesn’t need to arrange for anyone to travel anywhere. Based in New Orleans, much of Orgeron, Jr.’s work has involved cleaning up major storms in Louisiana and helping clients in the area prepare for the next disaster that will inevitably arrive on shore. 

“We do a lot of consulting to identify vulnerabilities, and we offer action plans for companies based on potential storm scenarios,” Orgeron, Jr. told Construction Executive

Legacy Environmental partners with Jefferson Parish hosting a hazardous materials collection event.
June 2024

It's an opportunity for people to safely dispose of things with corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients, or those that would be hazardous to the environment if they were washed down the drain or put in the trash. Examples include common household cleaners, oils and pesticides. The event is hosted by the Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs, in partnership with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office LASER Division and Legacy Environmental.

Legacy Construction joined New Orleans City leaders and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of St. Claude Gardens II, a 39-unit affordable rental housing development in the Lower Ninth Ward Community of New Orleans. SBP is leading the development and construction for these energy-efficient, resilient, equitable rental housing developments. This is the second phase of a series of scattered site developments we have worked on with SBP.

SBP to begin work on rental homes in Lower Ninth Ward
